Scouting Report: Justin Forsett, RB, California
Justin Forsett was a very patient young man. The senior from California waited for his chance to shine behind Marshawn Lynch. With his predecessor in the NFL, Forsett gave it all he had to show he can be just as good. He did a great job at it, but all of that does not replace the fact that the young man has a small frame (5′8″) for the NFL. Of course being that small, Forsett is a shifty runner with excellent cutback capabilities. He also has an incredible vision of the game and speed to burn.
Scouting Report
Pros: One thing I remember when watching this young man play on television was one of the commentators saying that he “was a natural with the ball in his hands.” I have to agree.
Cons: Lacks the power to break tackles and the bulk to block well at the next level.
Overall: If he had return speed, I would say the young man would find a home in the NFL; he does not have it, so I see him struggling to stay on a roster.
